Where's Catherine?

There are all kinds of toys at our house from having our church group over. She has thoroughly enjoyed the new toys.

Poor Baby

So we've had a stint of illnesses over the past 3 weeks. Catherine had a virus and was out of daycare for nearly a week, which meant I was off work. She was better for about 2 weeks then this Thursday it all started again. She has been teething with her 3rd tooth which could be contributing to her crankiness. I may be taking her to the doctor tomorrow depending on what information I get from the nurse.
Otherwise, Catherine loves to eat all kinds of vegetables, fruits, and well whatever we give her from our plates. She is crawling, pulling up to stand. She says 'dada' and 'mama'. She loves to sing and play in the bath. She still sleeps through the night which is such a blessing.
This is my last week at my current job and I'd like to not miss it (well in a way). I start a new job still doing psychiatric PA but at a private practice. I'm really excited about the change. Jonathan is working hard in his residency. He stays late, works on the weekends, takes call... But he really is enjoying getting to do different procedures now. So that's what is going on in our house lately. Y'all come see us, or to avoid a sick baby at least call.

I'm so excited

This is Catherine in sheer excitement about getting a new toy. It was hilarious seeing her bury her head down and giggle.


Here she is with her new stacker. She does really well and actually tries to put the donuts on the stick.

Happy baby after her nap. Look closely at her right eye...she fell on the kitchen floor and bit her lip and her eye bruised up for a couple of days. So sad.

Pool Party

So this is Catherine's first time in her pool. It took her a bit to warm up to playing in the pool so I edited out the part where she just sat there. She really enjoyed herself though. Check out the reddish hair.

Hat Show

These are the hats that Grandma Margie has made for Catherine. She also made the cupcake dress, as well as the pink elephant. Catherine did a fashion show and was a complete ham for the camera.

Lullabies

Catherine was singing herself to sleep, at least that's what we like to think. Sorry this is hard to see and you may need to turn the volume up a bit.

50th percentile

We went for Catherine's 6 month check up. She was pretty much at the 50th percentile across the board. She weighs 15lb 9.3 oz, 25.4in, 16in head circumference. No problems so far. And she was a trooper for her shots.
